Today we ventured down to the tip of Africa! We saw where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. A bit windy today but the rain in the am cleared up by lunch.

Protea President Hotel. This is the view from our hotel. We are staying right on the ocean! Atlantic that is! Gary had food poison yesterday but is starting to feel better today.

As part of their refurbishment they are building houses for the poor (house on left). Once the house is complete they tear down the shack (on the right). Completed house is around 650 sq ft includes 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and bathroom.

The kids also sang and danced for us! It was a lot of fun as they let us dance with them or at least they tried to teach us! Fortunately Gary was too distracted and missed the opportunity to get pics or videos of me!

In the afternoon we took a cultural tour. As part of the tour we visited a school in one of the poorer but developing areas. This is a picture of the computer lab in the school.
