hiya everyone! happy new year! sorry i havent wrote my blog for weeks but ive been so busy working and travelling around im worn out lol! its not just all sunbathing! were at noosa and to save money we decided to clean the hostel for free accomodation and a free meal - yummy spaghetti bolognaise every night! koalas is a class hostel and me and caz have a right laugh changing the bed sheets every morning and doing the washing! over 100 beds every day aagghh! over the last few weeks in oz we have been to sydney and brisbane. we spent christmas and new year at the westend hostel. We had a lovely christmas day at bondi beach which felt really strange but plenty of phonecalls and seeing family on the webcam helped! we wore our santa hats, tinsel and bikinis! for new years eve we sat outside the sydney opera house on the floor from 3pm until the fireworks at midnight! thousands of people were sat around like us all day drinking and having picnics by the harbour. such a good atmosphere and the fireworks at midnight were simply amazing i loved it! they spent over 3 million dollars on the fireworks and there was over 1 million of us there that night! spectacular!! we then went to hed kandi at around 1am and we walked home in the daylight at around 6.30am! what a way to start the new year - mint!

Brisbane was lovely too but much quieter than sydney! we met up with nicole on the 5th jan and she will be with us now until we go home. we have booked our fiji flights for february which we are all really looking forward to! we went to Steve Irwins Australia zoo for the day - got to see kangaroos, wombats, koalas, tazmanian devils, elephants, a crocodile show whic Terri Irwin performed with their son Robert. I had my photo taken with a koala he was really cute - it cost me 16$ though! (8 pounds)! he smelt really bad but he was cute and very cuddly! weve met some really cool people out here and were making friends all the time im loving it! hope ur all ok il try keep u more upto date and put some pics on asap! love to u all love me xx
