Well i finally made it to Phi Phi and it was worth the three days by plane minibus and boat to get here. But before i get into that,

After Phom Pen i left Adele and made my way down towards Shinauke Ville again not how you spell it and even harder to pronounce ! Stopped at a lovely little town on the coast called Kampot , once famous for its peppper. Here i stayed at the Long Villa guest house where they make fantastic Amok .There is a huge national park here called Bokor so i decided to take a day trip although it was a bit pricey, im so glad i wasnt tight onthis occasion as it turned out to be one of the best.

We all started out on the back of an open jeep, which i always think is the best fun anyway and headed for the mountain . This place is awesome but its really funny in Cambodia because the infrastructure of everything is still being built so to explain , the road through and up the moutain is still being built so its fun and very bumpy and dusty but the jungle is on you from all angles and the Jurassic plants are huge and on top of you all shady and impressive. At the top of Bokor is an abandoned French Casino , church and various other mid ruined stone, orange lichen covered buildings all used not that long ago as hide outs for the Khymer Rouge in the church there is a hole made so that bullets could be fired at approaching Viatnamese ! You can feel the weight of the place a lot of ghosts life here. So then onto a waterfall to cheer us all up !! I saw a hornbill which i was very excited about but as i was the only one to see it it dosent count as an offical sighting, there are tigers and lots of endangered animals inthe park but i didnt see any of them !

Onto Shinaouk Ville, the beach at last, met up with the girls again and did sunbathing ,eating and drinking mostly. Also a dive of which the best bit was when a pod of dolphins swam on the bow of our boat and did a few dolphin tricks , unfortunatley the vis was rubbish so thats why i decided to take myself off to the Andamon coast of Thailand. Was very sad to leave the girls and Cambodia behind but there are adventures to be had and you dont get them sat on your bottom Christmas or no Christmas. So off i go to the border thinking ive arranged every thing , flights from Bangkok etc all booked, untill i got to immagration on the Thai side and there is a sign saying that the land border visa has been cut to 15 days from 30 days !!!! This is really a bummer as now my visa runs out on wait for it NEW YEARS DAY ! So after much fussing ive decided ill go to Penang in Malaysia for new year. To be honest its mega expensive here anyway, so there Thailand ill spend my money elsewhere !

Which brings me back to lovely Phi Phi, ive booked 3 days diving starting tomorrow , im hoping and praying to see manta rays. Merry christmas and all that Jazz. x
