Don't frikking cry for me Argentina because I will be back!

My 4 days in Buenos Aires were great! Most people actually come and have a wild nightlife, I was alone in a hotel so I didn't quite have that, but I have lived to the fullest the incredible vibe of this city.

For starters I have arrived on a sunday in San Telmo where my hostel was and the fiesta del barrio (borough party) was in full swing and stayed like that till late at night. The antique market, the tango playing in every corner, the street performers, the smell of grilled meat, the people dancing, it was just magical.

At night I fell in love with Tango, I didn't go to any show available in the city, I sat on a stoop with a glass of red wine (several) and watched the locals dance the night away under 3 lines of fairy lights, sighing and wishing the boyfriend was there with me, what a night!

On day 2 a random encounter with a french tourist took me on the opposite side of town to watch a FREE polo match, with about another 50 extremely posh porteños. It was very cool, I am not sure how happy the horses were, but it was an interesting experience. Apparently the world's top ranked players were playing, I was clueless.

After that I took my heavily-blistered-flip-flopped feet around Palermo Viejo a nice, hip, quaint area full of bars and restaurant, not dissimilar from a NYC Soho.

Today is my last day, I enjoyed a long walk around Recoleta and Puerto Madero, a touch of shopping and getting ready to leave and move to Brazil.

This is definitely the big city I like the most until now, will definitely feature in my future travel and that time so will Davide and late nights of partying.

Now, I am going to be a good girl and get on a 17 hours bus ride to Puerto Iguazu.

Things I have noticed in Buenos Aires:

- small portions of anything don't exist

- there is very little choice of food other than meat and salads are as expensive as a parilla for 2!

- men are very annoying with their whistling and unsolicited/unwelcomed/dubious comments

- it's hard to find a shop that sells tango shoes and dresses...WTF?!

- they say ciao! and che.
