Well we're about to head into deep dark Cambodia. This means we may have about 2 weeks of information blackout - mum this is expected and not a cause for concern!
Happy Easter apparently!

Hey,
Hope you had a good Birthday Stu!
Sorry to read about you little car Mel, it is quite sad!!
Where are you guys of to after Vietnam? When are you coming back?
Speak soon!
Mel
My poor peugeot which has survived me crashing into warwick car park, endless saturday nights outside the debonair pub, a broken radiator in nottingham and 2 broken exhuasts could not hack it up north. Some raggamuffins who obviously dont have enought to do with their lives stole it and burnt it to a poor little crisp.
Maybe it was sad that i had bought a replacement.
RIP my little car.
boo hoo

Hey guys,
I do believe that I've been a bit rubbish on the keeping in touch front, apologies!! I have been reading and looking at all of your photos, just never got round to writing here, so thought I'd just say hello :-)
Hurry home, things aren't the same here without you!

Hey!
We didn't go to Phuket but we went from Phi Phi via Krabi to Samui - we only stayed in Samui one night coz we had to to get to Koh Tao (coz of the bus and ferry times we couldn't get from Phi Phi to Koh Tao in one day!). Obviously u have more time so can stay longer (I think its quite popluar with tourists but not sure what you can do there)! We got the bus from Krabi to the ferry port and I got a massage on the ferry - excellent after a stressful bus ride with lots of loud Thai music! U can easily get ferries between all the islands! When we left Koh Tao (if ur diving u shud def go there and use Masterdive - really nice company and small so nice and personal) we got the ferry to Chumphon and got the over night train from there to Bangkok which wasn't too bad! (I think we stretched ot first class too so we had our own room!) Loads of 'travel agents' in Koh Tao do ferry and train tickets combined and u get lovely colour coded tickets (get a seat on the top deck of the ferry inside if you can - no on sits there coz they think its 1st class!)
Bangkok wise we stayed in the Asia Bangkok which has its own sky train station (useful for Sukhumvit market and a few other bits) - plenty of taxis for other places! U get a buffet breakfast which was nice and theres a pool! We did the usual - grand palace and markets etc etc! If u wana get anything tailored then this is the place to do it but it isn't as cheap as u might think but considering its tailored it is cheap if you see what I mean! Think its cheaper for the guys - Steve got a suit, 5 shirts and 2 ties for about £150 I think?
Hope that helps! Where are u going after Thailand or is that it? Cannot wait to see u! Ems xxx

Dan - i think we probably are different - now we are even more tired than we were in the UK.
Ems - we are in phuket atm and off to samui etc on sunday. Any info on the islands, getting between them and getting to bangkok will be useful. We were thinking of getting the train pass for 20 days? Any ideas on train/bus.
Missing everyone.
To lifesaving peeps - good luck at championships and dont forget your proof of qualifications.

Just found this from Stus post on Facebook.
Awesome blog. Just sat and read loads... gotta go play waterpolo now.
Depending on my degree result, I may be running around the world next year too.... I shall be asking for recommendations & advice!
Hope you are still both the wonderful people you were when you left, but yet.. different. Travel changes everyone for the better. It will be lovely to see you both in May.
Take care,
Dan :-)
