Arrived in Mendoza yesterday after a long, but comfortable, bus trip. Lazy boy seats and two meals served by a fairly grumpy hostess. Mendoza is beautiful - open spaces, wide avenues, lots of trees and designed around five pretty plazas which makes foot navigation easy. We were up 'til 3am at the oldest Tango joint in the world. Much to learn from those Argentine golden oldies. Spent today in the old harbour district of La Boca - modern art museum, good local food and cold beer in the sun. Heading out for a classic Argentinian steak binge...yeah!
