Janey: Prague, aloha (this is not local speak, they only use consonants carol)

We have just got here after many adventures. this is our 4th country on our 8th day, so it goes. we have just spent the most amazing two days out back in sweet austrian countryside. it was a snowy wonderland although we have heard that the uk has been a wonderland in itself. we walked for miles and miles along glimmering ice paths and even did a spot of water walking on frozen ponds. the hostel was lovely, really family place where everyone knew everyone and all the locals came in to drink in the bar as it was the only watering hole for miles around. it was in grunau at the bottom of a ski sloope which we tried and failed to get snowboarding lessons at. we even donned some very very nice onesys - me in green, meesh in red. we got many a stare from the cool skiiers but we held out heads high and said 'yes, we are really children of the 70s'. we loathed to take them off but prized ourselves out of them eventually.

vienna was lovely, although a bit of a ghost town. i saw the kiss by klimt which made the experience... and we went to a crazy out of town hip hop party with crazy poles in munich. many adventures already.
