We checked out Versailles. One word GOLD!! No wonder the poor stormed this place and killed the monarchy. "So let me get this straight, I'm eating dirt soup, and you have a gold plated but warmer"!! Oh hell no!! (what the peasants said before they stoumed the castle)

The place is enormous and we didnt see all of it. Excess is too mild a term to describe it, maybe glouttony would be better. I could live in the garden though.

While we were wrapping up the tour some friends from New Orleans called to invite us to their house for red beans,butter beans chicken, jambala, dessert and good wine. And to watch the Saints beat up on the bears ( Sorry Kenny, those bears had it coming)
