Hi Emma and the rest of the Hansens,
We are all loving reading your blogs and have learnt so much about the USA... me included. We had never heard of s'mores and were interested in how you make them.
Emma, if you get time, would you be able to write a short description of how to make them - do you put the melted chocolate over the biscuits or between the biscuits? What type of sweet biscuits would be best, e.g. coffee, granita or a chocolate ruff type biscuit?
If they are not too hard we thought that we might try making some with the class - to try some American food.
Are they a bit like Wagon Wheels?
We've got your lovely postcards, thanks Emma. We have a little "Hansen's Trip" display in the class showing where you are are the places that you have been.
Each student is doing a project on one of the places that you are visiting - we are looking forward to sharing them with you all when you get back (perhaps in a special "show and tell" evening). I'll get the kids to write you a message to tell you what they are doing.
Although we miss your presence in the classroom, the Blogs help us to feel that you are still near as we regularly think and talk about you and all that you are doing...thanks.
Have fun with your family and enjoy having a "home without wheels" for a few weeks. Take care and God Bless.

Hi Hansens. We have missed your blog this past week, but was pleased to hear from you again today, and to hear the wonderful and very special reunion time you are having with your family. I feel so excited for you all - what a very special time! We have had some fantastic rain these past couple days, and so Paul and Theo are finally able to start sowing this week. They did attempt yesterday but got bogged because it was so wet, so had to stop! It's so lovely to see everything so wet! May God truly bless this very special time with your family in USA! Love and hugs to you all, Leanne & family xxxxx
