Day 4 - Phuket
Phuket FantaSea
A quiet day to bring our last day of Phuket to an end. We had a long lie after being on our feet all day yesterday and still struggling with the sun burn, which seems to be getting worse rather than better.
We took a trip on a Tuk Tuk to our tailor to see what the update was with our suits, however, they were still being worked on so had to postpone coming back until later on.
Whilst we were up that way, Laura went for a Thai massage, which was very rough and I ended up having a fish foot spa, where thousands of small fish nibble away on your toes and take all the bad skin off. Was a very weird experience and had to shoo them off a few times as the tickling became unbearable.
We then took a trip back to the hotel and quickly got washed and changed before the bus picked us up to take us to Phuket Fantasea where we had an all you can eat buffet within a 4,000 seat banquet hall.
After the meal, we had a shot of the darts and one a few cheeky wee prizes before we took a walk around the animal exhibition, where we saw the best hamster cage in the world. It was about 10ft long and had everything under the sun for them to play on!
Video to follow.............
The show started at around 9pm and lasted an hour and a half. It was pretty hard to follow at times, however, the animals were the highlight of the show. Was pretty amusing to see 10 goats run straight for a cart before leaping over it at the last minute.
After the show we had to rush back to the tailor shop to pick up our suits before closing time. We had had a few fittings previously and a few adjustments were required, so we were nervous as to whether they would fit or if the shop would even be open.
Luckily all was good and we walked out with 2 tailor made suits and a nice winter jacket.
Singapore tomorrow......
