This afternoon we crossed the Friendship Bridge to Thailand for a transit of 30 hours to Cambodia. We stamped out of Laos and caught the train across the Friendship Bridge over the Mekong river to Thailand where we went through immigration and got a visa. Then sleeper train to Bangkok.

56 LC Hi Muffy, Sounds like you are having a great time and seeing lots of different things. Sorry we haven't written back sooner- we've been very busy!!! We've been doing some Christmas activities, geeting ready for Graduation tonight and lots of cleaning up. How was the trip to Bangkok? Was the train ride fun? What different types of food have you had? Any really weird things? How long are you away for? Are you coming back before school finishes or will you be gone for Christmas?
