Hi Every one,
Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive. Don't worry, Mum. We got out of Guatamala alive and we didn't even get robbed, although a lot of people we spoke to had been. Very scarey place. We are in Belize at the moment, in the national parks trying to find some Jaguars. I may go to the Zoo if we don't have any luck soon. We have spent the last couple of days on a Caribbean Island off Belize calld Caye Caulker. It was very chilled out, great ocean, great bars, cheap lobster and more importantly, Cable TV. After travelling through Spanish speaking countries for the last month and a half, its good to be able to talk to folk, although the Creole dialect here is nearly impossible to follow.
Any way. Going to five lakes national park this afternoon (in Belmopan, the capital at the moment). We are going to hire canoes and find them damn Jaguars.
Hope every thing is good in Blighty.

Well, the kids are coming out of school at christmas, nver to return, except perhaps for GCSEs...so any little lightweight momentos you can collect will be cool...for both literacy and geography hehe....
Am really looking forward to it, and will be using all your photos to learn about the world!
Christmas is coming and I have to say, we are going to miss you loads...they are all coming to mine (except one I think, guess who) and it will be nice if we could phone you xmas day. Not too sure I will like an xmas minus a twin...but a bit far to travel just for dinner dont you think...so will freeze you some xmas dinner, and put away a cracker for your return! Already have the champagne on ice hun!
You have definentely done the right thing! You are seeing what life is really about...lots and lots of dancing girls I gather hehe...

Spicy Choc sauce???? Hmmm not too sure on that one Martin - yes 70% Choc Coco is nice, slighty tangy, yet not spicy, but spicy choc sauce? Well, I bet that moved quicker than a Nuns first curry! Thats one thing never to be caught without whilst travelling..........immodium! Glad you're taking in the culture - including the girls - you do know that you have to smell the cigar rolled leaves - they're rolled feshly up girlies legs! Hee hee. Ru getting home sick yet? Hinting bout peeps posting as many messages as poss? Savour those moments too my friend - its all part of the process, especially when you look back. Even if you cant see that now, (be sad) - well, cheesy and write it down - a book, a postcard, whatever - its lovely to read back like a story. Stay groovy monkey - easy on the spicy foods. U can never have enough bog roll - its like gold dust! See ya

Hi all, Just a quick posting to let you know where I am at the moment (I may get a chance to update the postcards soon). I am just relaxing in a town called San Cristobal at the southern end of Mexico. Tomorrow morning we catch an early, early bus to the border and cross over into Guatamala. Very scarey! Have thouroughly enjoyed Mexico, it really is a great country. Loads of sites, cities, temples and an amazing history. The people have been very friendly and I am saddened to be leaving. Have missed out the whole east coast and some fantastic places, such as veraruz with its dancing girls and cigars; Catemaco with its dancing girls and rain forest. Not to mention Cancun with its dancing girls and American tourists or Villadolid, with its dancing girls and hot springs. Definately enough of a reason for a quick holiday here in years to come, although I expect I´ll be saying that about all of the countries we will be visiting. One thing I can garauntee, however, is that I will not be eating another Taco or the spicy chocolate sauce (mole) they smear them in over here for as long as I live, so your out of luck there Sis :-) Any way, I´ll be needing my beauty sleep tonight, so will leave this post there. Hope all is well with everybody, post as many messages as you like, don´t hold back.
Martin PS, mum, dont worry about the sun cream, its bloody raining!!!!

And when you get back WE WILL be wanting tacos..genuine ones...meaning you cook them, not bring some back!!!!...

Wow Martin, not only is Woking Depressing anyway but it makes it worse when i see your wonderful awe inspiring pictures :( Well, they are all really great to see and Woking is missing you, i havent been to oniels for ages (as its boring), well mainly cos i know i wont see your chirpy little grin there ;). From mooching around your website you're definalty guna come back cultured your photos are grrrrrreat - spanish lessons eh, i can just about muster 'where is the youth hostel' in German! And your sis - Blackpool isnt that bad - i remember the pleasure beach from a kid - wow. Obviously not on the same par as Martin, but still cool. But i agree, there is so much to see and so little time. One other thing - i know im not your mum, but are you eating properly? You seem a lot slimmer in one of your photos than when you left. Remeber to eat properly, you need brain and physical energy. Hee hee, lecture over. Yup, please take me up on the offer of biking - it wont be a ride round here - first it was Europe, now its the world! "Their Pinky and brains, brains, brains, brains..............". I would like to meet your family - they seem funny - im not sure what they will make of little mad me! Keep it up buddy! And whats that about Swarfega - what on Earth have you been doing you greasy bugga ;) have a wash!
