Portugal on the whole is a lovely country. We last left you in Guarda, in the Serra da Estrela national park, which was beautiful. Great scenery and staggering cliff climbs in the van and steep drops on the passenger side (Max could tell from the mini screams from me as we wound our way to the highest peak in Portugal - 1993m). Wat een fantastisch gevoel om na 1.5 jaar noeste arbeid weer terug te kunnen keren in dat oude ritmeJ. Nu na 3 weken heb ik de zin gevonden om een stukje te schrijven en met jullie wat van onze belevenissen en indrukken te delen. Ja, deze keer is het idd "onze", geweldig om zo'n lange trip met je vriendinnetje te kunnen beleven en indrukken te kunnen delen. We are still on speaking terms ( tot nu toe J ), echt super! De eerste 7 weken van onze 10 maands...

Our first stop was Viana do Castelo but we weren't impressed by the dirty campsite so left there as soon as we could the next morning and headed south along the coast, stopping at a beach along the way for some relaxing sunbathing before staying in Vila Cha, a lovely campsite near the beach. Further south and we spent the day yesterday in Porto, which is just beautiful! It's full of beautiful buildings, steep streets full of people and shops and lovely views acro...
