Day 2 of my QCT MTB adventure, started early in the morning (about 8.30am). Track is still hard to ride with all the mud but its just 21ks till Anakiwa today. It started raining when I got to Anakiwa and I tried to catch a ride on the watertaxi but 30 NZD for me and my bike is to much, so I decided to cycle back on the sealed road. Got to Picton at 2pm and tried to book my ferry back to Welly for the same night, but could not get on the Bluebridge so (just on standby) but managed to get on Interislander the same night, which was a good choice as the bluebridge (left 20 minutes later) was more than one hour late as they had to take a detour due to rough sailing conditions. Went back to Haitaitai to crush at Sebs place (awesome to sleep in a proper bed again after almost 3 month in my car.
