The 767 fills with Spring breakers and Snow Birds all smiling with visions of a Maui sunset.   The captain comes on the intercom and sheepishly announces there have been major difficulties. We'll be "on decision" for 2 hours.  OK...they finally let us off the plane which means its bad    Back to the Red Carpet club w/ worries that we're going to miss an entire day in Maui, but they eventually reboard in the space of 2 hrs and off to Maui.

This is our first vacation to Hawaii. We've been all over the Caribbean and really hadn't seen the sense in 10 hours of flying to find better sand, water, & scenery, but decided we won't know til' we get there. Dean has a last minute business trip come up in Riverside California, so the girls all fly on Thurs morning from Chicago to meet in San Fran. We found similar aromas as in the Kasbah on return to Dar Nilam, our Moroccan B&B. We arrived back at 6:45 pm to the smell of Moroccan flatbread baking in the ovens.  Rachel introduced us to our waiter, Saad, and confirmed dinner would be at 7:30.
