Jackpot! I feel way better today! Im glad that's done with. I got up and headed out. I needed some food so I headed down to Burger King. Halfway through my food and young bloke came in to eat and asked if he could join me, so I of course obliged.
We got chatting and he was from Stirling in Scotland. He was back in Bangkok to get his camera fixed because he dropped it. Sounds like something i'd do! I asked if he fancied a Chang, that's all there is out here mainly. One beer ended up turning into a few. Met a couple of people from Bristol who'd got pissed and had a tatoo and arranged to meet some lads from Vancouver later onwho Allan met a couple of years ago.
I got chatting to Al about these Sang Som Thai whisky's and told him about what happened with the buckets. He told me no wonder I felt so s***, apparantly they put something in the whisky and the Red Bull over here has about 8 UK banned substances in it. Brilliant!
Whilst walking back through one of the bars someone shouted my name, I was looking round to see if I recognised them, then two girls came over who I had no idea who they were. "Matt, are you alright, did you get home ok?" My reply. "Erm, what?" Or something along those lines, I thought where the hell do they know me from. "You don't remember?" My response, "No!" I thought s***!
They then told me they were in the club in Bangkok and they weren't sure if I would get home as they asked where I lived and I didn't know. As you do. Then the next thing they saw me zig-zagging out of the club with 1 flip flop on minus my sunglasses, smart! I thanked them for helping or trying to help me out. The dangers of the Sang Som buckets!
We later met up with these Canadian lads and some Swedish chicks, I thought I wonder if they know Nils! Went for a few more drinks in some other bars and then headed of after a game of pool in which he traded his old flip flops for a pair of new ones that were by the pool table which some other random lad had taken off to play a game! I suggested we made a quick exit because I don't think he would been too happy! Funny though because his were pretty battered!
We went for some grub to soak up some of the ale at around 2am whilst getting blagged of a young Thai lad trying to sell us roses and show us tricks with the s***test cards in the world. So much for a quick beer, 10 hours later.
I left Al and went to bed as I had a 12 noon checkout and had to get ready for Chiang Mai tomorrow evening.
