hello Thialand, yes we are here baby !!!!!!, we said our fairwells to Malaysia friday morning then jumped in a cab to get us to the border, from there we passed through into Thailand, its funky when passing border crossings it kinda feels like another world infront of ya, so from the Thai border it was off on the train to Hat Yai for 4 hours, the scenery with all the rice fields and locals going about their daily business was good to see, after arriving we needed to get to Krabbi another 4 hours on the west coast, as soon as we got off the train some guy was on us asking where we are heading and using the usual patta (special price my friend), yeah right !!!!!!, we have the lonely planet and it kinda gives you an idea of the pro's & con's, so he was trying to charge us double from the local bus price so we give that a miss, we jumped in a tuc tuc towards the bus station and off we went, the bus driver was nutty'er than squirel turd, he was flying through these roads, it only cost us something like 2-3 quid, the prices are almost the same as Malaysia but the currency is in 100's, 1000's, we need to dell-boy trotter deal with almost everyone it seems or we will get fleased, after 8-9 hours travelling we are finally in Krabi and gonna stay here for 1 night @Chang sha lay hostel for 200 Baht (its sparkly clean) n head for the islands of Ko Pi-Pi then to Phuket and on from there, oohhh yeah beer is quality here, well cheap - ooohhh yeessssss.
