Day 1 - London to Wales

After a nearly 24 hour flight including a 2 hour stopover in Singapore I landed at London Heathrow at 7am in the morning. I was greeted with a grey and rainy sky, just what you would expect from England. I caught the tube into the city which was an experience as it was 8am in the morning and was rush hour so it was packed. I dropped my bags off at kings cross station (the first of many monopoly board places that I would see) and wandered around the city. I walked a big loop around the city past all the iconic London monuments which was awesome. At 2pm I picked up my bags and headed to Stanmore Station where Rob picked me up and we drove back to Wales stopping off a few times along the way to see some of the welsh sites. At around 9.30pm we arrived at Robs place and after a long first day I was ready for bed.
