Ko Chang is the most peaceful and remote place I've been to since I began travelling. An island far out to sea, it is served by a passenger boat that skirts the island twice daily. It's not going to take up much text to explain what I did here for two days.
Nothing.
Actually that's not strictly true. I laid on the beach for a few hours, had the occasional swim, sat around and read a book from the resort's bookshelf, at one point I even walked 100 metres or so to get to a little viewpoint. I'd read about 90% of the 500-page book before I had to relinquish it and catch the boat back. Now I'll never know what happened to all those people surrounded by mutant hyenas. I kid you not - there were mutant hyenas.
The weather was perfect for two days. I got a little bit of sunburn but nothing major. The bungalow was amazingly cheap and I thought about staying here another night, even just to finish the book... but time is pressing on and I have places to be. Next stop, Krabi.
