Eye!

Palua Pangkor is a very remote island off the West Coast of Malaysia. Emphasis on remote! No internet, phones, hot water, etc. Which is ideal if ur after some serious chilling after living the big city life.

Our accomodation is on the basic side (but what do u expect?) and once we discovered a special lamp to burn to get rid of the Mozzies it was all good. Been mostly sunbathing, swimming, wondering around the island and eating chicken curry (hard life , i know). Had a good work out using only a strong branch to hang on and a tree trunk, followed by a scenic run along the beach.

Went for a bike ride around the island yesterday (approx 15km) which was very funny as Tim's bike broke down at every possible hill (and there was lots!). We made it back eventually, both drenched in sweat and Tim in oil (hehe). Met some cute kids fishing off a jeti who were very accomodating and expert fishermen (check out the photos). Found a lovely little spot on the beach for us Becky.

Weather is about 31 degrees. Guessin its similar at home?! (could'nt help myself!) Next stop GeorgeTown,Penang-renowned for good food and ladyboys (Neil u'd fit in nicely there). It appears ur famous everywhere George.
