Greetings from Kuala Lumpur!

There are various ways to describe Malaysia's capital. It can be very busy and rather smelly in places during the day but stunning at night. The food is varied and very yummy. We've been eating out for about 1 pound each (chicken, noodles, veggies and smoothie), everything the body needs (well almost everything!). Great place to shop too-never seen so many designer shops under 1 roof (said hello to 'Jimmy Choo' 4 ya Becky).

Yesterday we travelled up the Petronas Twin Towers (as in the cover photo) which were magnificant, particularly at night. Still the tallest twin towers in the world, plus we got to wear some really silly 3D glasses-which we both found quite amusing (no suprise there).

Today we explored the Batu Caves just outside the city. Was surrounded by monkeys who were very mischievious. Was very humid inside but well worth a visit (if u like caves!).

Off to an island called Paulu Pangkor tmoz for some beach retreat before continuing up the West Coast.
