Today we took a train to Cologne from Gerelstein which was a boring countryside town that didnt have a pub anywhere in sight so we were very relieved to find that this city was a bit more vibrant. After lugging our backpacks we settled into the hostel before exploring the attractions of the city. The next day we went into the Dom Cathedral which was amazing, it was huge and really beautiful. We then climbed up one of the towers which after 509 steps provided us with an incredible view all over Cologne.
