The blog of journeys. We set out towards Vientiene the capital and as it was a 12 hour journey decided to stop half way in a place called Tha Khaek. Sabaydeeeeee from Lao! Why is it that all border crossing seems to turn into an absolute mission? We thought it was going to be so simple as we were staying only three hours from the border. Wrong. When we arrived apparently there was no bus for us so we had to wait around until one was available (for 3 hours) and then maybe pay more if there wasn't many people on it? Asian rules? Battambang turned out to be a nice couple of days.
