We caught a boat from Phuket to Phi Phi islands, an hour crossing and we arrived to a really pretty green crossing with palm trees and tropical beaches. We stayed in a hill side cabin and for the first time we had a swimming pool! Phi Phi was quaint with little market huts. The whole island seemed so quiet as it had no cars or bike and no one hassled us. We spent the first day on Phi Phi around our hotel pool and then went down to the beach to play bat and ball and Matt pulled his hamstring. That night we laid on the beach at the reggee bar chilled out listen to a live band. We got up early on the second day and hired a longtail boat which took us to Phi Phi lay (maya bay) where 'The beach' was filmed. We snorkelled around the coral reef saw many tropical fish. Our last stop was Monkey beach and Matt sat down next to a baby monkey and the baby monkey jumped on Matts head and gave him monkey fleas. We named him Spank. Daddy monkey didnt like his baby being on Matts head and was going to bite Matt. So we runaway.
