We spent 8 nights on koh phangan on bottle beach north of the island. The beach was really nice probably the best beach on the island. The only way to reach it was on a long tail from thongsala pier. We stayed at Haud Khaud resort in a bunglow right on the beach and then over new year we moved to a fancy room in the same resort. We made good freinds there who ran the place the whole family were so nice. Chicken the main man ohh his brother and Urrgh his cousin. Some nights we sat up playing card (drinking games) until 3am with other guests about 30 of us and turned into a bit of a party. During the day we relaxed and then we had the best new year ever at haadrin new years eve party. there was over 10,000 people on the beach with firework shows people performing and everyone just having a great time dancing. We found a brilliant jungle bar at 4am and had it large dancing like we were 16 again. There was a group of us from the hotel there which was nice. At 6am It started POURING down with rain and the electricity went out but that didnt stop me and matt dancing in the rain on the beach. Well, 3 buckets later and 7am we decided to head back to our hotel but not before us and our German friends going body boarding in the huge waves. 9am and we decided we neaded some sleep. So over and out from Koh Phangan.
