Wow Ko Lipe was amazing buy far the most beautiful place so far and not too many tourists. Its the furthest south that we are travelling in south east asia. It is closer to Malaysia than Thailand. It was a journey and a half getting there mind when our speed boat broke down half way over the sea. We heard we were lucky the fact that we choose that day because the day after we arrived a massive storm hit the island and boats were having to turn back due to waves that were 5 stories high. Anyway safe and on dry land we checked into daya resort the first room was soo dark with no lights/windows so we stayed one night and moved room. The next morning only to be woken at 4am with the resort generator turing on. Again we moved to the other side - this room looked okay, light and seem to be quiet but oh no we had a rooster wake us up at 5am! so off we were again to our home for 5 nights number 6 and it had it all aswell as a leeky tap but oh well. We just could not find the word in thai for Wrench to fix it. But thats our motto 'its just thailand'. During the day we explored the island did lots of snokelling and saw so many fish little nemos! night times we spent mixing with many travellers at poohs bar. The owner Ohh was very nice we played drinking games which matt lost at. We also spent a druken night there as Matt thought it would only be right to wet the babys head (jons baby-isabella). That was Ko Lipe our piece of paradise.
