Landing in Bangkok and getting to the city was an experience so busy but fun too. We arrived on the koshan road and checked into the d&d inn. Great place to stay if you dont stay at the front of the hotel like we did the first night. The buliding site directly opposite started drilling at 630!. We laid awake all night and matt was convienced the hotel had paid the locals to drive up and down on tuc tucs to keep us awake so we would check into one of the more expensive rooms towards the back. We did check into one of the back rooms the next day at no extra cost (matts theory being clearly worng)the room at the back was nice and quiet.

After wondering round the koshan road the next day we went to the grand palace which was impressive and matt took about hundreds of pictures of mosaic statues. We did a Really good tour, it was an amazing place. Now we know all about thailand religion and the king and why every thai person wears yellow, but dont test us when we get back.
