We arrived in LA with the flu!!! So our sightseeing was slightly hampered and it meant that we spent a lot of time in our hotel watching TV! Just shows you what a few days at Disney can do to you, we must be getting old! We did stay at a hotel right on Hollywood Boulevard so saw the stars on the pavement and also happened to see a movie being shot. They were shooting a Will Smith Movie (MIB?!) and had dug up the road and strewn expensive, crashed cars on the road. Only in LA!

On the Saturday we headed to an LA Dodgers Baseball game! We read up the rules before we went so that we didnt look like complete amateurs....no need really as half the crowd seemed to be there for a social get together and the game was merely an excuse! After a hugely overpriced hotdog and about 2 hours of watching we decided to head to the beach! We did enjoy the experience though and saw a home run!!

We made our way to Santa Monica beach where Matt had a swim and I lay on the beach looking for celebs (no luck there!)

Sunday dawned and we found out that our hotel couldnt keep our bags for us..so, as our flight was at 11pm, it meant that we had to walk around town with backpacks and everything for a good number of hours! We finally got to the airport and made it through the rigorous checks and were ready for a holiday in Fiji..(sigh)..the tough life of a traveller!!
