mat, please cheer up, you're on the experience of a life time, you are going to have these memories for a long time and if all you do is mope around then they wont be very enjoyable ones! maybe sometimes there is nothing to do but you are with your friends in a different country without anyone else ! that should be fun enough, i soend everyday with my friends, just in a room talking and i enjoy it. so just CHEER UP because you are making me depressed- i mean you ARE in australia, which, is much better than being here in england and it feels like we are having more fun than you because of things like "it hasn't been too satisfying"! anyway, i hope your time on australia gets more 'satisfying' and i hope you have fun. love you lots! xx MEGZ xx
just a note to adult members of the family, lol doesnt mean lots of love- it means laugh out loud. xx

just like to say when i said i was doing a Mrs P, blabbering on about not very interesting stuff i didn't meen that Mrs P isn't interesting( shes the reason why most people come on this website) i just ment that i wasn't being very interesting(oops) sorry lol Any way read my message I know the spellings awful and i sometimes missed words out but you'll get the jist of it.
Dan
Goodmorning. You dont half winge so i have decided to come and tell you off for that. For goodness sake man, pull your self together(lol). It might not seem good now and i know im one to talk about this but if you moan about your holiday now your regret it. It might not seem good now but it will seem amazing when you come back and think of all the amazing things you've seen and done. Nothings ever as good as you expect it to be but its probably better than you make it out to be if you think about it. Just remember that you are in Australia which even if the trip is at the moment not very good just being in Australia is pretty cool isn't it. If your still feeling miserable about it just think of us at home and think what a better time you are having than we are for example i have to in a min write a poem appriciation and by friday have done all my media filming and written a thousand word essay on the popularity of MP3 players, plus its wet and miserable and the first week of a new half term( i honestly can't be as bad as that can it?) Your missing really good episodes of lost by the way The one last week was maybe the best so far. You'll have a lot of catching up to do when you get back! I'm kind of taking my time, anything to prevent me from doing this essay. You will like the new room. It reminds me of the cinema rooms they have on cribs. The new computer is coming on thursday which should be good. Turns out when i told you i was getting my hair cut when you phoned i actually in the end did'nt because the male hair cutters are only there till 2 on saturdays. It is really weird talking to you on the phone!!! Any way im doing a bit of a Mrs P here, blabbering for ever about not very interesting stuff. Just remeber to cheer up and think at least your not in boring, samey england. You'll never have this experience or freedom again so enjoy it, I' sure it will get better soon when you bungee jumping and sky diving if you ever do that.
w/b soon Guru Dan x

Mrs P
Wakey wakey rise and shine Mrs P is back on line!! Hopefully you have caught up on your sleep now. I have never been to the land of OZ but gather it is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing all of the pictures. Nothing much has happened this end since pancake day. I went for a walk in the forest this morning with Terri and our four legged friends. I walked in what I thought was just mud and then started sinking. I let the female race down by shrieking and panicking. The more Terri pulled the more a sank. I eventually got out complete with wellies. Very harrassing, but entertaining for the forest ponies. As you can imagine being a female, I have blamed it all an my weight. I have started a new saying, does my bum look big in these wellies?? Joe is due back from Andorra tomorrow, from the texts he has sent it sounds as though he has had a great time on the ski slopes and off. I have just seen Luke Sharman with bleached hair....amazing what you get up to at Uni! He looks like Eminem. Anyway time for me to stop wittering and start ironing. Keep safe and have fun.xx
Gen (Haha) X
hi matt, you are so lucky, i am so jealous, australia sounds really fun. Glad you arrived safely and i hope you don't run into any spiders or anything :S nah, you'll be alright.
Did you find nemo while you were near the opera house? His dad is pretty worried! :(
anyway... if you see megan (meegan) don't say hi (i think you know why without me going into detail! grr >:( )
How long have you got in australia? imi has just got back and she said it is quite muggy near the great barrier reef, hot but not too sunny, but i hope the weather changes for you and i hope you have a great time there.
Yeah, the spare room looks good, but smells of leather at the moment, the t.v is large and dad has already started doing a painting for it. Mum has hovered the carpet about 12 times already!
So life is pretty normal. You are probably asleep as i write to you but i can't wait to see your next journal entries and photos, i hope you see a kangaroo and i hope you don't see any spiders. i miss you, well you walking in and then straight out again.
Anyway, like i said, i hope you have a good time and i hope you do lots more fun things.
Love Yhoo!
Mum
Hello Mat
Glad you all arrived safely in Sydney and hope you had a good day on Bondi beach and in the mountains. My itinerary says your tour starts on Saturday morning is it wrong.
The furniture arrived yesterday and it looks bigger than we expected it to but then it usually does until you get used to it.
I'm sure you've been in touch with Sarah but she sent me a text and said she had a good time in Barcelona. She's coming over on Sunday so we'll find out more then.
Grandma and Grampy are going to Tims at the weekend to read your updates but she desperately wants to tell you to check your shoes for spiders etc before you put them on (it's a mother, Grandmother kind of thing we just can't help ourselves).
Anyway hope you have a fantastic trip and really look forward to your next journal and photos.
Lots of love as always. x
Leah
hello maaaate!!! woooohooo! australia ... glad you all got there safely!!! looks absolutly fabulous!! hope you all have a great time and i'll be checking back soon for your next entry - needless to say that they are just a little bit more informative than the awesome foursomes journal entries.... i can actually check if ur legless or not !! heheh!!
loves and hugs , Leah xxx
Dad
Hi Mat,
Has no one got any pictures of Jim in a dress !!! Surely you didn't let the moment pass unrecorded !!
Hope you hade a good flight to Oz, we think you are 10 hours ahead of us now so although I am writing this at 10.30 pm it is 8.30 am where you are (is this right ?)
I suppose you saw the news about the bombs in Thailand ? If you didn't, 50 bombs went off in the southern provences bordering Malaysia. Suffice to say that Mum and Megs were pretty worried. I checked it out on google world and was able to ease their nerves as, even though the islands are pretty southern they were still a long way away from the bombs. However, if you hear of anything bad happening in the country you are in, if you get the chance, a quick phone call, or a journal entry saying you weren't involved would go down well (even if it is the other side of the country) and give me an easier life (especially as your mates updated the other website with a message saying there was a bomb on the train and that you all lost limbs......funny once you know you are ok, but not so until you do.
Anyway, the study is carpeted and painted, and has new skirting, and the furniture arrives tomorrow. We are getting the Laptop at the weekend 'hopefully' so that will be one room down and only another 12 to go if Mum gets her way !!! Have a great time in Australia, and be careful you don't spend too much (I don't think beer at 50p a pint is likely, and you certainly won't be able to hire a quad bike for £7 for 24hours.
Stage 2 begins....as many updates as you can please as your fan base is growing....I have given the address to Kris and Caroline, and Grandma has given it to the rest of my family. However your trip has some competition, I think some of your readers are now logging on to see 'what Mrs P did next'
See you soon, have a great time.
Dad.

Mrs P
You are correct it is pancake day...the day I dread as the boys don't stop eating them and I stand there forever tossing!!! I'm sure that sounds rude but never mind. There is a song about Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. Well done for winning the arm wrestling, you were very brave agreeing to compete. Any way must go as I have to consult my Delia book about pancakes before the hungry hounds return to base! Keep writing and taking the photo's.x
