Glad you arrived safely after your epic day all sounds a bit of a nightmare to me. Anyway it's another experience to add to your ever growing list. I hope you manage to get a good nights sleep tonight ready for another long bus journey tomorrow and I hope the tour will be fantastic.

Take care, keep safe , have fun and see you soon.

Suddenly my world seems very dull and safe. Still I fought through the madding crowds at the weekend in London to faithfully watch my marthon man run a gruelling 26.2 miles in sweltering heat. One lone women with three excited, impatient kids on tow. I was exhausted just holding up the banner and shouting for everyone. Needless to say trying to get my hero home was a true feat, madding crowds, conjested tubes (thats the underground not his body), plus all the steps were tackled backwards. Still thank God we all arrived home safe exhausted and in Alberts case very pleased if not completely immobile. Todays been pretty hairy too! The mad 5min car journey to work, followed by the tricky climb of two - yes two flights of stairs and then if that is not enough hours of staring at a computer while trying to please clients and suppliers alike. I know - mad isnt it. Still I must slow down I cant carry on having this much excitement everyday, I am not as young as I was.
Lots of love

Hi Matts, Sorry it's been a while, what a fantastic experience, I can't believe you have been sky diving, very glad I didn't know beforehand. We thought we were doing something exciting, we were in Brixham last week, went on a replica of the Golden Hind, the children said it was the 'Black Pearl'. then went by steam train (Hogwarts Express) and ferry to Dartmouth. Went crabbing (very exciting) children 8 - Grandparents 0, but hey-ho it was fun. Love your photos, safe journey tomorrow. Love you lots, stay safe keep well.

With all the photos of you with goggles, or a helmet, or a wet suit etc, we are beginning to think you have joined the Village People. Can't remember what you look like in normal attire. Looks and sounds like New Zealand has lived up to its 'high octane' reputation and you are having a brilliant time....pot hole pictures look good....in fact they look exactly like Benny and Val's....even the same suits !! Enjoy the rest of your time in NZ, see you soon....not long to go now !
Lots of love xxxxxx

To go back to my previous question - "What can you do to beat skydiving?" - well, I guess abseiling 120ft down a hole in the ground, jumping off an underground cliff and swimming along an eel infested river in the pitch black gets pretty close... I remember seeing the glow worms in NZ - but I was sitting in a comfortable tourist boat with a guide - SO conventional!
You're becoming a bit of an Indiana Jones - how will you cope with Fordingbridge?
Take care and lots of love,
Phil x

Filppin heck Matt!!! What fantastic pictures and what a brilliant thing to do. Maybe I will get brave like you one day, I have to over come my fear of heights first though. Your poor mother, we have just had a chat on the phone, it was a smart move not telling her about it before the event. Nothing much happened here this week other than a rather glorious heat wave. Have fun and KEEP SAFE!!!x
Mum
Hi Mat
Hope you're ok. Pictures of sky diving are really great but so glad I didn't know before you did it.
Weather there looks really cold, we're actually basking in really hot temperatures at the moment.
Sarah's here watching last week and this weeks episodes of LOST as it was Easter Sunday last week.
Anyway love you lots and see you in one months time X
Phil
Oh, my god.....! All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not your mum and I hope that Julie has the tranquillizers nearby... What can you do to beat skydiving?! I expect your next photos to show you swimming down the Amazon River being chased by hungry piranhas and other nasty things that lurk on the river bed...!
Glad to see that you're having a relaxing time and enjoying the sights.. you probably won't be allowed out of your bedroom for six months when you arrive home!
Take care!!! (worth saying even if you've ignored all the other pleas for you to take care!)
