Hello hello im over in perth now, 4hour ish flight over from sydney, and managed to catch the second half and extra time of the fa cup so was well chuffed. not a bad game!!! met loadsa people in my new hostel during the footy, really nice place called the Billabong Backpackers. met up with giles who i was mates with back in bondi over christmas, and a few great girls from swindon. in my room here ive unfortunately got a few scottish and germanz but thats travelling, gota be social and tolerant lol. nah they are cool guys really, and also in my room is a couple who i met back in bondi too.small world. so first night was watching footy and hada few beers and singalong in our room, next day i cycled (giles has a bike and hes gone off cutting trees in the outback for the week), cycled into the city centre and explored a bit. very small city, nice though. weathers a bit crap but it is nearly winter here now. though today its 25 and sunny... heard its about that back home too! hottest place in europe someone told me. today its monday and i start my job at 2, think its just to hava chat with me etc.. see how it goes wil update tonight hopefully. its in the holiday inn right in the central high street etc. today me and the girls walked up to the kings botanical gardens park, its on a big hill and you can see all over perth, looks really nice from up there.. just had zome chinese and now its nearly time for work!! hopefully if it all goes well and i get it, i will find out my hours, so that i can know when my days off are and so when i can go to the beach!! anyway, 10mins to go and i gota get to the hotel for work.. wish me luck!!
