hi all, been in Na Trang on the east coast on 'nam for the last 3 days. had a superb time, great people, crazy place, so many jokes and good times and an awesome booze cruise around the neighbouring islands. still feelnig the effects. had a big night every night, and with beers at around 50US cents a bottle its rude not to.. travelled here with the aussie guy Hugh who i met in saigon. and met some cool people on the beach and just been hanging around chilling out and eating chicken. lots of chicken. and a serious amount of pancakes too, special. the weather has been on and off, but they have big waves here so have been just do idiotic things in the sea whenever we got bored. and of course a big portion of playing footy with locals. today was one of those fantastic memory days that u will never ever forget, the beach is big and as its a sunday today the kids are off school, so lots of locals to meet. whilst the hangover crew were sleeping on the beach i walked over and joined in a game of footy with a few vietnam dudes, hmmm, croydon- jumpers 4 goalposts, vietnam- palm trees... enough said. so beautiful. being white i am actually a spitting image of david beckham obviously, so thats always been my name which is pretty hilarious, and also mainly coz they cant pronounce 'mat'. they use their noses alot to talk in vietnamese, and 'ma' is a hard thing to say, and then they insist on putting an 's' on the end to.. after a game of headers and volleys on the beachfront, i went back in the sea for a while, gorgeous islands lit by a stunning sunset ahead of me. then we decided to be a bit drasticly proactive and got up and went for some food, just had a top chicken and cheese sarnie. change from the rice and noodles. then over a banana shake, we chilled at the bar/cafe for a bit then headed back to the guesthouse. ive just said goodbye to a few girls we met as theyre going south but im going north, and im off in DAMN 25 mins! best be orrrf... got a lovely 12 hour night bus to Hoi An ahead of me... arrive at 6am. will be back on me own tonight too, but with 12 hours of crap bus time ahead im sure to meet more nice people to chillout on the beaches with.. ok well i better be outy speak to you soon hahahahahahahahhahh btw, in this net cafe they are playing all the celine dion hits, in vietnamese with the odd english bit, and im just sitting here next to some legendary 'nam warrior humming to my heart will go on. crazydays
