GDAY ALL... annoyance of asia, just wrote a long postie and then we had another powercut and comp turned off.. found a well cheap net place though so eear me now... last few days have been great fun as always, last night we had a big big big one after the aussie brasil game, ended up sleepin in the club, its a 24/7 sports bar so it was ok, then had breaky in there lol. back to hotel, and slept til 2pm, then went for lunch, amazing as always, some shrimp noodles stuff and a banana juice. then been in internet for few hours getting pics off everyones cameras and putting them on here and onto my mp3 hard drive. not going to beach today, had too much sun last few days and skin has taken a battering. and feet are mangled from so much footy on the beach and knees are bruised up from surfing. think ive reached my browness peak, not that brown but pretty good for a Brit. ritch, you have african blood so it doesnt count if youre still browner than me after that good weather in england lol... yesterday we went back to ulu wata (me, rob -eng, frank -dutch, and the swedes) to watch the Rusty surf comp. me roberto and frank le boeuf left at about 9, got stopped 10mins later by the police.. well annoying, just wanted to get there. apparantly we had exited the petrol garage the wrong way, heard the usual crap about jail and fines then saw them off with 50,000 each. bout 4 quid. budget caned, but still continued. then literally around the corner we got stopped again, this time id rolled my front wheel over the line at the lights.. (but no worries to the bali boys next to us, about 10yrs old, no helmets).. but blagged it and got away. caned it down the motorway to make up time and on a smaller road through the lush countryside we got waved down again, well, i saw 2 white boys being stopped in front and decided to just drive on, and got away, but rob and frank got stopped, they blagged successfully again, saying how we'd already paid 200,000each etc and have nothing left and are very sorry etc (for what ever we'd done lol). reached the beeeeeautiful ulu watu and grabbed some fried rice and chicken (ayam goreng) and watch the surfing from the clifftops. great afternoon, had a nap up their, listening to the waves crashing and the chilled tunes, then headed over to the temple on the cliffs. blagged free entry using the police no money story and looked around for a while. had to wear sarongs for the religiousnessness. played around with monkeys for a few hours, which was the highlight of the temple. lots of hindus were sitting down like a school assembly hummming something right weird, and a monkey jumped down a robbed a turban thing of one of em, hilarious. the religion guys were cool though and laughed bout it. they offered peanuts to the cheeky monkey and i jumped up a tree and nabbed the hat back, half chewed hat though. got a big applause from the local school kids and posed for photos with them haha well funny. then we drove home, and got stopped AGAIN, this time he was more serious but eventually got away with a caution. i forgot my international liscence book so that was the reason. fair enough. frank had his so he'd stayed on his bike and took some cheeky photos out of his bag of the goings on, top man. couldv got a grilling if hed got caught tho, prob get thrown in a bali jail for being a spy or something.. sped off and got to kuta, lost the others somewhere in the traffice then noticed more police at the lights.. prayed for a green light and luckily it was, and saw them waving me down but had had enough of the godam polici in their dirty brown uniform and snuck off down a side road and lost them in the alleys. went back to hotel, gave the bike back, met the others (who got stopped again lol), hada cold beer and watched the football. gona go watch a film and dinner soon, then the 9 o clock game and another night of footy and bintang beers. then only 1.5days left here in my kinda paradise. 2 swedish girls we are with are on the same flight as me all the way to london, which is nice, so have company all the way home. gota stay 7 hours in singapore too. but it has a pool and cinema there so hopefully it won't be too painful. then home thursday morning, and power league in the evening! cant wait to catch up with everyone and see my new dog! footy on thursdays gona be great, me harris and however many brothers are at home! yoshy will be in france so spose just adsta, superstar dan you should play too mate. alrighty, FIN
