Ali goes to town for the last few essentials before we start another trip and returns with two pasties intending to pack them for supper, but they smell so good we have them for lunch instead.
We leave home around 16:00 on the way to Plymouth. Ali receives a text from Brittany Ferries saying a technical issue has caused delays to the Armorique's schedules. We can only stay overnight at the port if we arrive after the last sailing, so we wait in a layby on the Torpoint road, periodically checking the Marine Traffic app until we see her sailing at 17:30
The torrential rain stops as we set off for the 8 miles to the Torpoint ferry and we arrive at Millbay docks just after 18:00.
A BF staff member knocks on the door and tells us our 08:00 departure will be 10:30, but we must still check in from 07:00 so no lie-in. By bed time there are at least 12 mo-ho's and caravans parked in the lanes and we hear more come in, the latest around 02:00
