At 12:40 we set off on our winter trip, bound for Poole. Unlike our last start towards Poole last year there are no problems and we make good progress to Sourton where we stop for a burger. The weather turns dull and dark towards Honiton then brightens before dusk sets in near Charmouth.

As we travel along the Dorset coast there is a fantastic red-orange full moon ahead.

From Bridport it is an endless stream of oncoming headlights.

We reach Poole harbour at 18:05 and park near the only other motorhome. Pizza for dinner and an early night.
