A patchy sky and cool breeze this morning. It looks like it might rain but we decide to wander along to the village anyway.
The trees are starting to turn autumnal colours and yet a few swallows are still around.
Priddy village is very attractive with its large green surrounded by stone houses and old farm buildings. What looks like it was once a pub is up for sale, but just around the corner we find the Queen Victoria.
This really is a typical English pub; slate floor, stone walls and aging timber furniture. Despite being a Tuesday lunchtime it rapidly fills with locals while we enjoy our lunch of curry for Ali and chilli beef for Nick.
Afterwards as we wander back to the site the wind gets colder and clouds build. We have just got settled inside as the rain comes.
