We are up in good time after a decent sleep. We reach the stand in time for GP3 qualifying.
This is followed by F1 third practice. Rosberg doesn't run as his car has problems, but it's noticeable how the drivers are fine tuning their laps; taking different lines and pushing the the edge of the circuit. British drivers Hamilton and Button are both going well, Hamilton just beating Italy's hero Ferarri driver Alonso.
The Porsches run again then it's the F1 qualifying shoot out. Hamilton takes pole by a comfortable margin from Rosberg. Button makes 6th.
We watch the GP2 race with another good outcome for British fans when Jolyen Palmer drives superbly to 8th having started at the back.
Walking back we pass the media village. We are looking at the satellite wagon when BBC presenter Suzy Perry walks past and tells us "You won't get a very good view from there." After a short chat about British prospects she turns and climbs the steps to the van, and it has to be said that she was wrong. As she wiggles up the steps in her tight skirt the view WAS quite good.
Back on site we make our way to the stage area for Eddie Jordan and his band to play but there's obviously a delay so we go for a meal then back to watch campsite band - The Lettuceheads. Finally just after 21:00 EJ and The Robbers arrive and play 90 minutes of sing-along dance-along numbers to a lively crowd.
Needless to say it's another night getting to sleep late.
