The music stopped at one o'clock this morning with a big finish of Bohemian Rhapsody and an air-raid siren.

Slightly jaded we are ready to go into the autodrome at 9:30 and we are in the stand at the beginning of the pit-straight by 10:00

We have an excellent view and enjoy a full day of action with two Formula 1 practice sessions, GP2 practice and qualifying, GP3 practice and a Porsche supercup race which is just underway when it rains, but not enough to cause any problems.

On the way back we wander into town and find a Lidl store to get something other than the site's cholesterol fest of burgers, bangers and chips.

Every so often we hear a crack on the van roof as chestnuts fall from the tree above us.

Parties all over the campsite but we're shattered and are in bed before the music stops at 11:00
