Many of you were wondering how my experience ended. Sorry for the delay! I've been sick w/bronchitis for the last two weeks! Not fun...and I'm still a little sick. Well, my last week was sad. The kids at the clinic grew more attached than I thought they would. I went around the room hugging each of them...some of them had a harder time letting go of me than others. Things are going so much better. My day at the orphanage consists mainly of playing volleyball for hours and teaching. (My forearms look like I have hickeys from the bruising! But I love playing with them…and I still have my skills! Haha jk.) I love teaching now. It was so disorganized, which frustrated me, but since I spoke up…now we can finally get this moving! Helloooo there my lovely people!Sooo Tuesday I definitely had a bit of a culture shock. I don´t know what happened but I guess everything hit me at once. It was my first real day at the orphanage and my first full day living the life of a Peruvian. Okay folks I survived my 26 (yes, 26!) hours bus ride!!! Before I get into that just to let you know...please excuse typos...ya know I don´t like proofreading to begin with and with their keyboards in addition...I´m thinking this may not be a good combo!Okay back to the bus ride...first of all apparently I was on something when I was looking at prices for a flight because they told me some people were able to get the flight for $30!!! Yeah-I swear I saw $400....

So far........I enjoy shopping here-it's cheap!! It's totally like Juarez, Mexico. They hound you and they love to bargain! And I don't know how to say "No" so yeah...you can guess how my experience went. haha Arlene now I know what you mean when you say Costa Rica is expensive compared to other places. I cannot believe how cheap it is here! Food is cheap here too..I got a dinner + soup +soda for $7...in America it would have been at least $18 to 2...
