After a very long drive we eventually stopped in a field in Transylvania as a campsite.
We set off from our stop in Hungary and made a our way to the Romanian border, the crossing was very smooth and only took a few minutes. The biggest difference between the two countries is that the villages appear to be very poor, most houses look as though they are about to fall down, most of the villages seem to be stuck in the communist era as they are still called communes and are engaged in collective farming, they use all available space to grow crops or keep chickens. We have seen a lot of shepherds they control the sheep using old methods and very big dogs, which appear to be of no particular breed. The driver has had to work hard as he had to make several detours due to weight restrictions.
When it came to the campsite we pulled down a non descript road and set up camp for the night, we amused ourselves with frisby and skipping.
