Collectivo to Agua Azul, pickup truck to town, collectivo to San Christobal, met buddy, arrived San Cristobal at 5:30, found hostel, walked town, beautiful and safe, dinner at Italian restaurant and chatted with owner from Rome.

Arrived Palenque early morning, taxi to ruins entrance, found cabana in forest, great coffee at tiny vendors home, massive breakfast at jungle cafe, walked to ruins, dinner at jungle restaurant, huge chicken pasta dish, live band and dancing.
