Marty's Trips
One of the longest rides I've done in a day takes me across Newfoundland from east to west and into Gros Morne National Park. A gusty cross wind has kept me leaning on the bike hard all day and it gets worse as I make it to the coast. I arrive in Sally's cove late afternoon and decide to find the hostel recommended by lonely planet as i don't feel like camping tonight. It's becoming a trend that the hostels recommended by Lonely plant shut down and this is the case with the one here. A couple of ladies in a store know of an alternative back in Rocky Harbor and I make it there just before it starts to rain. A good nights sleep is definitely in order!
