It's 2am when the ferry docks. I make my way out of town and along a trail to find a camp spot that Rocky recommended. Its 3am by the time i get to bed but when I wake up its to spectacular views and a warm sun. I pack up camp and head in to Port aux Basque to find food, fuel, money and wifi. Full of all the above I get on highway 1 and take a picturesque 150km ride north to a Provincial Park. An hours hike takes me to top of Erin peak And I set up camp near the lake. While the campsite at the park entrance is full, I have the top of the mountain and its silence to myself.
