Great flight on an Airbus A380 to Melbourne and a really warm welcome from Nikki and her dad Graham. Obviously my jet lag was insane so a few fuzzy headed days, but a family meal, horse racing at Flemington, late night partying, and intensive city sight seeing ensued for a few days. Another week or so of relaxed days, winery visits, shopping, eating, and more wine, and the odd day at the beach thrown in too!
Really great to meet everyone, the Cornhole crew, and the Inaugural Cornhole world championships a real highlight!

Nikki did a great job of keeping the diary full so I've met lots of great people and seen some of the highlights that Melbourne has to offer from the vibrant and stylish Prahran base.

If you ever get a chance to eat at The European restaurant in the city, take it.

Time flies when you're having so much fun though, so soon it was time for a road trip.
