We have now finished our two week holiday from our travels!!! Sitting on the beach, topping up our tans, eating lots of food - was great. By the time we left we were recognised by all the retailers, tailors, restaurant owners and taxi drivers etc, meaning it often took us a while to walk up the strip as we had to stop for many conversations, (tailors often just a quick "not today, maybe tomorrow!!"). We spent most our time on Chaweng beach, but took 4 days out to see another side of the island on Lamai beach. Again it was a lovely beach, but not as nice as chaweng, so we ended up going back. Our hotel also had a swing bar on the beach, (swings all around the bar) was great fun!! As its the quiet season, not so many people, but can imagine it would be heaving.

We have now arrived in Bangkok, after another extremely bumpy ride, actually the worst so far, for one night before our long flight to oz tomorrow evening. We have spent the last few days researching Oz, and there is so much to see and do in such little time - itll be non stop!!! But cant wait!! Try and get photos loaded once in Australia and its a little saver!!
