Hi Martin we beat Man City 1 - 0 today which was a deserved victory for the Gunners. We dominated possession for large parts of the game but it took until the 80th minute for Cesc Fabregas to finally beat Kasper Schmeichel. That was despite Robin van Persie having earlier had the chance to score from the spot. Schmeichel saved from the Dutchman and later made a valiant effort to get on the scoresheet himself from a corner. Manuel Almunia, deputising for Jens Lehmann, made a comfortable save and will be pleased with his clean sheet. Other games today. Liverpool beat Sunderland 2 - 0 and Chelsea beat Portsmonth 1 - 0 and go top of the table with Arsenal up to fifth.

Great to talk to you yesterday & catch up!

Hiya Martin Its hard to think you were in the US then back to normal UK and now the other side of the world. You having such a life changing experience and happy to think you're loving every min of it. So on another adventure and already some amazing photos. I love the smelly sunset but I think you can guess which put a HUGE smile on my face J yeah the fluffy white tale one, I'm well impressed.I hope the mad flight you had was ok and your not suffering anymore from it. From what I have read so far I would think seen as you can jump mad height then you should be J. Nothing to exciting has happened here, works going well and fun can you believe. Il tell you something funny, that is happening now, I'm stuck on my chair here in the dinning area because there is a mouse running loose in the house & no ones going to be in till 12:00 to help save me and its only 22:00 L. I'm normally ok for I kept lovely Russian hamsters so ill have to face the thing lurking round, but it just keeps darting everywhere and so freaking me out, ahhhhhhhh. No way could I handle the bush so all credit to you JWell I have a mouse to scream at J but will be in touch some more again soon, so keep up with the photos and il try and add some comments to them. Have an excellent adventure and be excellent to each other as the wild stallions would say Keep safe and there is no mountain I'm sure you can't conquer but make sure if you fancy so, go with new friend if not a guide J Catch-up soon, Take care Sarah x
Mike
Skydiving?! One word: yikes! Good effort sir, I'm very impressed that you went through with it. The experience sounds almost as life-defining as sitting next to a giant German rabbit. Also, I'm glad to see you've maintained your love of photographing ducks, birds, stuffed animals and random wildlife in general. Any squirells yet?!
Arsene
To update you on last nights Champions League game with Sparta Prague. I was concerned that the side appeared to struggle initially when faced with physical opponents. The first half was difficult but when Fabregas slotted in from the edge of the box on 72 minutes and Hleb put the finishing touch to a counter-attack on 90 minutes to seal the victory. The job is not done but our second goal was a mental blow for them.Other interesting results today were, Chelsea beat Reading 2-1, Man Utd held to 1-1 with Portsmouth with Ronaldo sent off and will miss the derby with Man City this weekend, who themselves marked their second victory by beating Derby 1-0. Have a great day.
Dad
