G'day, how you goin'?
Last night I rounded up my world trip amazingly, last night myself, Tom and Myles headed south of Melbourne to Phillip Island to catch the Penguin Parade...hundreds of spectators gathered to watch in the star lit sky hundreds of tiny Penguins arrive back on the beach and head home...was yet another of the amazing things I have seen on my travels.
I'm back in Sydney now for the next three days, where I'll be chilling out on Bondi beach, having a few drinks down at Darling Harbour and a few more at the Opera Bar!
I can't quite believe I've been away for almost a year, it's been one of the most amazing things I have ever done, traveling across the United States from New York to Los Angeles with my buddy Mike, touring the North and South Islands of New Zealand in mid winter to then flying on to Sydney to live and work and have the most amazing experience ever!
Some of the things I have done in no particular order will stay with me forever, the look on Mike's face as we approched Manhatten, then the look of fear when we thought maybe we should have gone for the weekend...the first journey up to Boston were we met Gay George the hostel owner...and one of many love actually moments, "oh my god, are you guys from England!"
Then heading over the border into Canada to see Niagara falls with the frozen lake below and we made our way west to LA, but during that trip we played pool in a Blues bar in Chicago, partied hard in Miami, drank with cowboys in a saloon in Texas, stayed in the Rockies at 10,000 ft, witnessed the amazing Grand Canyon, jet skied in the middle of the desert in Arizona in 45C heat, gambling all our money away in Vegas, cycling the Golden Gate Bridge and chilling out on the beaches of LA.
There I flew south to New Zealand the most stunning of countries where I climbed glaciers, jumped out of planes from 15,000 ft, jet boated through canyons and looked on at some of the most amazing scenery in the world.
Then onto Sydney, the most amazing city in the world, one I'll never forget and one I'll definitely come back to! I've lived at Bondi beach, worked in the city and made the most amazing friends from all over the world!
I can't really recommend traveling enough, if you have one inch of adventure in you then go and book your flight now! It'll be the most amazing experience of your life :)
And now I look forward to a very long journey back to England, I can't wait to see you all...here's some photos from my last weekend in Australia, down in Melbourne, see you all soon!
