Hey all, I have arrived in the adventure capital, Queenstown! The journey from Franz Josef took 8 hours, but it was the most stunning scenery for 8 hours, driving through twisty bends, through the southern alps, past snow capped mountains, clouds floating above the mountains and lakes so still they perfectly mirrored the alps! Our coach driver, was doing a favour driving today, as he is usually a tour guide, so we had a free tour guide all the way here!

We even stopped off at lookout points (not like National Express) to see the second glacier here, the Fox Glacier, not sure if it has anything to do with Fox's Glacier Mints? Next, we stopped off at a stunning beach, the sun beating down on the ocean, and dolphins swimming through the waves!

I'm staying on a lakefront hostel - and cooking my bolognaise this evening I looked up and could see snow capped mountains overlooking the lake! Not bad eh?
