Goooddddddd Morrrrnnnniiiinnnnnggg Vietnammmmmmmm!

I am afraid due to sleep deprivation there is no Markaen Philosophy today just good chat/

So after 16 hours, 4 stops and a slightly nerve racking border crossing ahve arrived in vietnam. The Big City. This place is huge! have just finished our lonely planet walking tour around town. Tried the local food, beef noodel soup like thing called Pho. (not to be confused with poo!)

Absolutely shattered from walking about 6k around District one checking out all the local sights. It also does not help that only got about 4 hours sleep on the crazy bouncy bus, i felt like i was on the tv programme playdays all over again from being a kid. Anyone else remeber playdays?

So we are heading off to the Cu Chi tunnels tomorrow where the Viet kong hid whilst fitting the americans. Glad i am as smaller as the average Vietnamese as they look proper tiny. Also heading to a crazy looking Daoist temple in the middle of nowhere... so a pretty normal day it would appear in the life of Mark!

Just checked into our hostel so so glad after 3 days to have a hot water shower again! Slight problem clear glass door! Now I am perfectly happy... nae even mad keen to share my God sculped body I call "The Temple" with the rest of our dorm but it appears they are not. So with my trusty travel washing line and a sarong i have saved the day yet again. It all comes down to the university education! Freshly scrubbed and ready for action! aka more crazy food!
