So we left Broome yesterday after 6 nights. We enjoyed our last beach visits for a while, even though we were sent from the water a couple of times with croc sightings.
Off towards Derby, for a night in a caravan park, ready to be picked up for our seaplane tour of the Hoizontal Falls.
We woke early to find that a local had pinched Spencer's bike over night. Comet did let go of a bark during the night, we think that he was trying to tell us, and I just told him to be quiet.
After a tour of town, and a call to the police........ we are not really holding out much hope, we headed off by coach to the airport. The seaplane trip was fabulous, what incredible patterns you see from the sky. Landing 30 mins later at their pontoon , quite a vessel, you can stay overnight as well.
We were taken then by jet boat to the falls, a tidal surge through land masses. Then back for a swim with the Sharks, Spence got to pat a Tawny shark ( apparently they have named some of them, Kimmy was the one he patted) then off down Cyclone creek in the boat again, the scenery was incredible. Then back for a barramundi feast, delicious. Jonah then went off in a helicopter for a no doors, low experience, which he said was incredible.
Then another swim and ready for the flight back, we think it was money well spent, we won't get back to do that again, and if we do I think we may stay overnight, just unbelievably beautiful.
Tomorrow we are off the airwaves for a possible 4 weeks as we tackle the Gibb River rd.
